The device allows you to quickly assess the charge level of your battery and the state of each cell in the lithium battery. The charge is displayed both in volts and as a percentage on the scale.
The controller can show the cell with the minimum charge, maximum charge and the difference between them. Display accuracy 0.001V. For NiCd and NiMh batteries, functionality is limited to displaying the total voltage across the entire battery. It is also worth considering that it takes measurements only at the moment the device is started when the battery is connected.

An important functional feature is the passive balancing function of the lithium battery cells. If there is a weak cell with a reduced capacity, then during the charging cycle there is a danger that it will reach full charge and will be recharged while the rest of the cells are only charged to the nominal capacity. As a result, temperature and pressure will build up and may damage the cell. The device equalizes the charge on all cells by pumping charge from one cell to another. This reduces the spread of their charge and is necessary for correct battery charging.
